Appendicitis- it is basically inflammation of appendix which cause unbearable pain in lower abdominal part of the stomach and requires a surgery as early as possible as treatment. Causes of Appendicitis
Main cause behind appendicitis is still not known clearly. But it is believed that it can happen due to abdominal injury or trauma, blockage at the opening where the appendicitis connects to the intestines, inflammatory bowel diseases and sometimes due to growth inside the appendix. In this condition patient will suffer from sudden pain severe pain in the abdomen it can happen in any age most commonly seen in childhood and adolescence age and maximum incidence is between the age of 20 to 30 years of age.
Symptoms of Appendicitis
There will be pain in the lower abdomen or near naval.
You will loss appetite
Pain will accompany nausea and vomiting.
Your belly will look like swollen and there will be fever of 99-102F.
Sometimes patient will face diarrhoea or constipation depending on the position of appendicitis. Person will not be able to pass gas easily.
In case of severe pain one must visit the doctor immediately.
Treatment of Appendicitis
Most people of appendicitis need a surgery called appendectomy to remove the diseased appendix. Surgery prevents the rupture and keeps infection from spreading. Some people will improve with the antibiotics and not need surgery these can be done in the mild cases of appendicitis.
