Do not store these two utensils in the kitchen upside down

According to Vastu Shastra, the kitchen is one of the most significant rooms in the house. In order to prevent issues down the road, it is advised that special attention be paid to the kitchen when building or purchasing a home. Some like to maintain a tidy and attractive kitchen. They label their containers and maintain organization throughout. Some people maintain a messy and disorganized kitchen. Utensils in the kitchen should never be left unattended, especially at night, according to Vastu Shastra. Wash it after using it or eating in it. However, after cleaning or using some utensils, they shouldn’t be kept upside down as this is unlucky and can enrage Goddess Annapoorna.

Utensils shouldn’t be left out in the open in the kitchen at night. It is deemed unlucky to turn a pan upside down after roti is cooked. A common practice is to make roti, take the pan off the heat, and store it upside down. As per the Pandit’s explanation, it is deemed unlucky and could result in financial difficulties and mounting debt within the household.

The expert added that keeping a kadhai (cauldron) upside down brings more negative energy into the home. It might also intensify Rahu’s influence. To prevent strife and disturbance in the home, he advises using kadhai, cleaning it, and then putting it away in its proper place at night.

Copper, steel, brass, and bronze utensils should be stored facing west. Additionally, he advises against adding water to a hot pan since the steam it produces may upset Maa Annapoorna and bring bad energy into the home.
